Day by Days itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Pickup airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
After breakfast, get picked up from the hotel for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city including Pashupatinah, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Hanuman Dhoka Palace.
Kathmandu City: The capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kasthmandap is the source of the name Kathmandu and is supposedly made from the timber of a single tree. Visit Durbar Square, an array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese royalty.
Swayambhunath: Located approximately three kilometres from the city centre, Buddhist Stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa that forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four-sided base of the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara (200km – approx. 7 hours drive)
After breakfast, transfer from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus. The trip takes approximately 6-7 hours. Hotel Staff will pick you up from the bus station upon arrival to check-in at hotel.
Day 04: In Pokhara
Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara consisting of visiting the Pokhara bazaar, David’s fall, Mahendra Cave, Tibetan handicrafts & refugee center and Seti Gorge.
Next experience a one hour boating tour of Phewa lake.
Day 05: Pokhara – Chitwan (160Km-6 hours drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive from Pokhara to Chitwan. Upon arrival hotel staff will pick you up.
Day 06: Chitwan Jungle Safari
Enjoy a full day of jungle activities including an elephant back safari, nature walk, bird watching, canoe ride, jungle drive, Tharu stick cultural dances and more, plus lunch and dinner.
Day 07: Chitwan – Kathmandu (Approx 200Km – 6/7 hours drive)
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival check-in at Hotel Pilgrim. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 08: Depart From Kathmandu
After breakfast at your hotel you are free until you are taken to the airport for your onward flight
