The major religion in Nepal is Hinduism, and the Pashupatinath Temple, the world’s largest temple of Shiva, located in Kathmandu, attracts many pilgrims and tourists. The government of Nepal has also declared Lumbini Tourism Year 2012 to promote Lumbini.
