The Langtang Gosaikunda trek is one of the most popular trekking routes in the Langtang region. The main attraction of Langtang Gosaikunda trek is exotic 108 Glacier lakes which are scattered around the Gosaikunda region along with wonderful surrounding of Himalayan ranges, beautiful landscapes, lush wild nature with picturesque sceneries, and delightful forest and so on. It is a popular trekker’s destination due to its mesmerizing natural attractiveness along with wild traditional civilization of Tamang, and Sherpa who is still living over there and doing agriculture farming, animal rearing, Yak pastures and Cheese as their own business for a livelihood. The Gosaikunda Lake is a Pilgrimage place for Hindu, which also has great religious value in the Hindu religion. It is said that Gosaikunda Lake is originated by Lord Shiva and it was dug by him with his holy trident. At that time he was created 108 lakes in this region. Starting trek from Kathmandu city,around 6 to 7 hours’ drive to Dhunche Bazaar.The trekking start from the Dhunche Bazaar to Chandan Bari passing through Deurali. Trekkers will rest at Chandan Bari and next day they move towards Gosaikunda Passing through Lauri Binayak.
