Trekking to EBC WITH Nepal Planet Treks

We recently completed a 15 days trek to EBC including Gokyo, Cho La Pass and KalaPathar and we are very excited to share few tips with those planning to take this type of trekking.

We planned the trip several months in advance and we were very fortunate to find Nepal Planet Treks as the representative company for our first trip to Nepal. They customized the trip based on our requests and after several emails back and forth, answering to the last details of our requests we “sealed the deal”.

Right from our arrival to Kathmandu airport we once again discovered the NPT staff professionalism and dedication as the designated trekking guide Sanjib was waiting for us and from that moment on we were worries free.

We met with NJ, the Managing Director, at the hotel, went over every detail of our upcoming adventure and we have been again re-assured we are in very good hands.

During the 15 days of trekking Sanjib, our guide, made every effort to ensure we enjoyed the experience, he was very attentive to our needs, knowledgeable about every aspect of our trip but most of all he tried to lift our spirits when we were down. We also like to mention our porter Raj who carried our luggage’s during the trip we have to say it is not an easy job

Our whole 15 days was a very tiring but extremely rewarding experience and we already plan to return to Nepal using definitely Nepal Planet Treks.
