Ghorepani poon hill trek late January

Fantastic first experience in the Himalayas. Great holiday with our teenage children. Breathtaking scenery. Hiking kept us busy but well within our abilities with time left over to relax and savour the experience.
Winter made for clear skies and no crowding, but needed our walking poles as Snow on the ground higher up and were glad to be prepared with thermals and layers.

Nepal Guide Info team ( Nepal Planet Treks) superbly organised every aspect of the trip with friendly conscientious engaging guides and porters.

Our guide Sanjib looked after us as did Hari and Bisnu who guided the 2 other family groups in our travelling group of 13 tourists.
