Ghorepani and Mohare Danda Trek with Nepal Guide Info team

Me and my girlfriend custome-made our Itinerary together with a tour agent in Kathmandu .We decided to use Nepal Planet Treks because the person I spoke to, NJ he was very friendly, and almost too interested in helping out and giving input to our planning.
Originally we wanted to see Mohare Danda, and only a limited amount of the trekking agencies went there.
Our Trek included pickup by the guide and porter and car from Kathmandu airport to Bandipur, where we had booked our own hotel for the night, and car continuous to Pokhara to start the Trek the next day with guide from Nepal Planet Treks .

One bad thing they “tricked” us with was the itinerary with the driver.
The trek started in Kande, outside of Pokhara. We had booked car and guide and porter from we arrived in Kathmandu, until we finished the trek 7 days later.
We assumed the price then included car for that whole part, but when we arrived the agency asked us how we would travel from Pokhara to Kande(where we assumed the car would take us since it was driving us from Bandipur to Pokhara the same day) I believe that when barganing for the whole trek price, they chose their words carefully so that we would have to pay more when we arrived to have the conveniences to use the same car the whole way, and not have to take a bus or taxi etc the last part.

On day 6, while trekking back we reached Ulleri by lunch, and decided to continue all the way out of the mountain the same day, so we would get 1 extra day for the rest of our holiday.

The Guide (Sanjib Adhikari) and the porter (Pasang gurung) were super friendly, and I still talk to them on Facebook.
One error they made was not pre booking rooms for us to stay until the same day we started trekking, so the day we were going to Tadapani we didn’t have a room, and had to continue past Tadapani to the next place to stay there. That day ended up being 10 hours walking, so a bit tiresome, but the next day to Ghorepani was much shorter and we had the whole day after lunch to relax in Ghorepani.

All in all an AMAZING experience!
Mohare Danda has an incredible view. Better than poon hill in my opinion!

Our Itinerary usually meant a full day of trekking, so be prepared for long walks
