The Best Everest Base Camp Experience with Nepal Planet Treks

My Everest Base Camp trek in May 2026 was one of the most exciting adventures of my life, and choosing Nepal Planet Treks and nepalguideinfo.com made the entire experience exceptional. From the first inquiry to the end of the trek, everything was handled professionally, making the journey smooth and stress-free.

Our trip started with an unexpected challenge when our flight to Lukla was cancelled. Instead of letting it ruin the adventure, the team quickly arranged a helicopter flight. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience, giving us spectacular aerial views of the Himalayas and an exciting start to our trek.

Coming from a high-altitude region, I was able to trek to Everest Base Camp in five days without requiring extra acclimatization. Throughout the journey, our guide was outstanding. His extensive knowledge of the Everest region, mountain culture, and local communities added so much to the experience. Everywhere we stopped, he was warmly welcomed by local lodge owners and residents, making us feel less like tourists and more like honored guests.

The breathtaking landscapes, friendly Sherpa hospitality, and excellent organization made this trek truly unforgettable. Every detail was well managed, allowing us to focus on enjoying the incredible scenery and the challenge of reaching Everest Base Camp.

I wholeheartedly recommend Nepal Planet Treks and Nepal Guide Info to anyone planning an Everest Base Camp adventure. If you’re looking for a reliable company, experienced local guides, and outstanding service from beginning to end, you won’t find a better team. This was a journey I’ll remember for the rest of my life

Our 16-day Everest Base Camp trek was an unforgettable adventure, and the incredible support from Nepal Guide Info made every moment even more enjoyable. From the first day until we returned safely, everything was well organized, allowing us to focus on the spectacular Himalayan scenery and the journey itself.

A special thank you goes to our guide, Sanjib, whose professionalism, experience, and genuine care made a huge difference throughout the trek. He constantly checked on everyone’s well-being, shared fascinating insights about the mountains, local culture, and Sherpa traditions, and always knew exactly when to encourage us during the more demanding sections of the trail. His calm attitude and positive energy kept our group motivated all the way to Everest Base Camp.

Our porter, Ram, also deserves tremendous appreciation. His hard work, reliability, and friendly personality helped make the trek comfortable and stress-free. He always greeted us with a smile and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly.

An Unforgettable Everest Base Camp Adventure with Nepal Guide Info

Our journey to Everest Base Camp was much more than a trek—it was an incredible adventure that challenged our bodies, introduced us to the rich Sherpa culture, and rewarded us with some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery on Earth.

Before booking our trip, our group of five spent a long time researching trekking companies in Nepal. After comparing many options, we chose Nepal Guide Info led by Sanjib Adhikari, and it proved to be one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, Sanjib was responsive, professional, and incredibly patient. As an experienced mountain guide himself, he understood every concern we had and answered all of our questions with honesty and detailed advice, helping us prepare confidently for the trek.

Like many Himalayan adventures, our journey didn’t go exactly as planned. Flight cancellations between Ramechhap and Lukla forced major changes to our itinerary. Instead of letting the situation become stressful, Sanjib and our guide quickly arranged an alternative overland journey by jeep to Surke through Salleri. They reorganized our accommodation and schedule without any hassle, allowing us to continue our adventure with minimal disruption. At the end of the trek, they even managed to arrange a helicopter flight from Pheriche to Kathmandu, ensuring we reached the city in time for our international flights.

Another moment that truly demonstrated their outstanding service happened when I underestimated the amount of cash I would need during the trek. Without hesitation, Sanjib organized emergency funds to be delivered to Namche Bazaar, which relieved a great deal of stress and allowed me to continue enjoying the journey.

Our guide, Jiban Tamang, was simply exceptional. With more than 15 years of trekking experience in the Everest region, he shared fascinating knowledge about the mountains, local traditions, wildlife, and trekking safety every single day. Everywhere we went, local people greeted him warmly, showing the respect he has earned throughout the Khumbu region.

Jiban always walked at the perfect pace for our group, making sure everyone stayed comfortable and safe. He patiently supported anyone who was feeling tired, helped us choose the best meals, monitored our acclimatization, and made wise decisions whenever conditions changed. Beyond being an outstanding guide, he became a trusted friend whose positive attitude and sense of humor kept our spirits high throughout the trek.

Reaching Everest Base Camp was an unforgettable achievement, but what made this journey truly special was the outstanding support we received from Nepal Guide Info. Their professionalism, flexibility, local expertise, and genuine care transformed unexpected challenges into memorable experiences.

If you are planning a trek in Nepal and want a reliable company with experienced local guides who genuinely care about their clients, I highly recommend Nepal Guide Info, Sanjib Adhikari, and Jiban Tamang. They made our Everest Base Camp adventure safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable from beginning to end.

    It is a lifetime experience

It is a lifetime experience In Himalayas, it was very well organized by Nepal Guide Info team.we had very good and friendly communication the whole time. They took very good care of us during a EBC trek, before and after. They were also very flexible and helped us quickly with our requests, even when we needed some major changes during the trail, e.g. on the weekend, within one day, NJ organized a helicopter to pick us up the gorkshap, after reaching EBC. We also experienced that it is very safe to participate, as the guide is very well informed and notices if medical help may be necessary and the company takes the necessary steps quickly if evacuation or medical help is needed. Overall, we can only recommend Nepal Planet Treks and NJ Team, and this specific trek, too. See you next year for Manaslu trek .
