EBC and Gokyo Trek Guides- Porters /Cost and Daily Charge 2024

If you can Hire a guide and Porters a during a trek you want to learn more about the culture,history and meet more locals peoples, and get interpretations on what you are seeing along the trek. A guide will cost $25 to $35 USD per day for the both of you. A porter will cost $20 to 25 USD per day and the porter can carry the gear of both of you. A guide or porter is not required to stay in the tea houses. At these rates, you will pay for your own food and lodging and the guide and/or porter will take care of their food and lodging during trek. Expect to pay $20 to $25 USD per day per person for food and lodging – more if you drink a lot of alcohol or soft drinks.
